This 650,000 square foot Diesel Engine Manufacturing facility on 39 acres includes a 40,000 square foot office area. This greenfield project was constructed on a fast track schedule with production starting in less than 16 months after breaking ground. The facility includes machining lines for blocks, head, crank, connecting rod, engine assembly, test line and heat treatment. Lathrop as the construction manager had the complete responsibility for the construction management of the facility, site work, and equipment installation.

 DMAX is a 50-50 joint venture between General Motors, U.S. and Isuzu, Japan.
