Turner Awarded $68 Million Contract By Hilliard City School District

 

Columbus, Ohio, Oct. 18, 2006 - Turner Construction Company

has been awarded a $68 million contract by The Hilliard City School District to serve as the general contractor for the construction of two new schools to meet the needs of the growing communities served by the school system. 

 

The scope of work includes construction of a 63,000-sq.-ft. elementary school in Dublin, Ohio.  The $10 million single-story school is scheduled for completion in the fall of 2007.  In addition, Turner is constructing a 320,000-sq.-ft. high school in Hilliard, Ohio.  The $58 million facility is scheduled for completion in May of 2009.

 

“We are proud to have been selected as the general contractor to construct these educational facilities for the communities and the students served by the Hilliard City School District,” said Tom Manahan, vice president and general manager of Turner Ohio.
