Turner Is Selected To Provide Construction Management Services For The $74 Million Provena Saint Joseph Hospital In Elgin, Ill.

Chicago, Ill., May 2, 2006 – Turner Construction Company’s Chicago office is providing construction management services for a new 4-story bed tower as well as additions and renovations to the existing Provena Saint Joseph Hospital in Elgin, Ill. The project was commissioned by the hospital and represents approximately $74 million in construction volume.

Turner also provided preconstruction services which included maintaining the total project budget and plans for moving visitors, patients and supplies during all construction phases of the new addition and the major renovations.  Turner also provided master scheduling, cash flow projections and site logistics plans for horizontal and vertical movement issues. 

As the construction manager for the 4-story bed tower, Turner will provide services for the additions and the renovations to the existing hospital, which includes four new operating rooms and a women’s center.  Project completion is scheduled for 2010.
