Kansas City

Turner has been building in the Kansas City area for more than twenty years, but our story here began long before 1988. Turner's first project in Kansas City dates back to 1944, with the construction of the Pratt & Whitney Plant, known as the Bannister Federal Complex. After completing several projects, including Marion Laboratories for Ewing & Marion Kauffman, Turner opened a local office to continue providing construction services to clients in the area. The office serves a four-state region of Missouri, Kansas, Nebraska and Iowa. 

The office has more than 100 staff members. They are active members of the community and are involved with organizations such as Habitat for Humanity and other volunteer efforts from construction of handicapped ramps to food-drives. This dedication to community involvement is just one of the reasons why Turner was named one of Kansas City’s "Best Places to Work" by the Kansas City Business Journal in 2010.
