The Roper St. Francis Berkeley Campus includes the site development of a 35-acre master site with an 80,000 square foot core and shell medical office building and a 130,000 square foot community hospital.
After an eight year Certificate of Need legal process, the Roper St. Francis Berkeley campus was a much needed and long anticipated healthcare campus for the county. The project team engaged in utilizing a design assist approach, allowing for an early engagement of subcontractors and a phased component GMP approach to fast track the design and the construction of the facility.
The medical office building, located at the back of the campus, is a four-story structure that features a hurricane proof window system and a brick exterior façade. The interior fit-ups include space for hospital administration space and future tenant fit-ups that support the overall site development. The medical office building houses a variety of specialists and outpatient services for Breast Surgery, General Surgery, Lab Services, OB/GYN, Orthopaedics, and Urology.
