The Stanford Linear Accelerator Coherent Light Source project consists of a 78,000 square foot office complex that facilitates chemistry and life-sciences research. The project includes a half-mile, underground tunnel extension more than 100 feet below the surrounding surfaces. The project was constructed for the Department of Energy.
