The Sound Transit U240 Capitol Hill Station is located in the vibrant commercial and residential district of Capitol Hill and covers approximately three discontinuous city blocks, with three separate above-ground station entrances.
Upon completion, the station will be approximately 550 feet long, 50 feet wide and 55 feet below grade to the passenger platform. Project scope includes open-cut retained excavation, below and above-grade structures, vertical and horizontal waterproofing, station finishes including conveyance systems, mechanical and electrical systems and the restoration of at-grade features including streets, sidewalks and landscaping hardscapes.
