This facility is a two-story, 30,000 square foot building with teaching labs dedicated to environmental botany, anatomy and physiology, microbiology, physical and analytical chemistry, general chemistry, organic chemistry, biochemistry, and advanced forensics.  The interior is comprised of teaching laboratories for 24 students each, as well as shared rooms for classroom preparation.  In addition to the traditional perimeter fume hoods, base and wall cabinets, six student teaching islands stud the open floor space, with sit-down octagonal islands for the biology floor and traditional standup student stations on the chemistry floor.  The common areas are dotted with bulletin boards and alcoves for informal gathering.
